Ukrainian School Project in Romania

Donate for this

Here in Bucharest, there are about 2500 refugee kids from Ukraine now. Every child experiences the war is his/her own way. Most are here with only their mom, while their dad is back in Ukraine.

One of their urgent needs is to continue their school studies, following their regular program in the Ukrainian language, and for younger kids to be able to attend a kindergarten. It is very important that they can be in a familiar environment, learning and spending time with other kids.
We want to help meet this need.  And, we see it as a great opportunity to share the Gospel with the children and their families. We are organizing a summer Day Camp for Ukrainian children with educational programs and activities for kids and their mothers.
32 kids 3-7 years are on the Day Camp project Mon - Fri from 9 to 16.30

The program of Day Camp includes Arts, Music, English and Romanian workshops and 2 times per week kids will have dancing with the teacher.

We have: 29 kids 7-9 years that will be on English workshops (Monday, Wednesday, Friday 15.30-17:30)
We do weekly meetings with teenagers and prayer meetings with parents.

In July we are planning to add 2-3 weeks of English Camp for teenagers with many Ukrainian kids where the Gospel will be presented throughout the day.

We desire to facilitate the building of community for Ukrainian moms and children by providing a safe educational day camp where the Gospel will be freely proclaimed for kids, provide moms counseling and therapy and to begin a church where they can worship together.
We invite you to be a part of this project!
